Panel boards are found almost in every electrical distribution system in residential, commercial, and industrial applications.  They are categorized as either power or lighting and appliance panel boards and then further as either main breaker or lug type distribution boards.  The type of panel board switch needed for each electrical protection job will depend upon the type of board needing protection and the current requirements of the power distribution system.
